As midsummer settles over Downtown Mantua, gather in the garden courtyard for Embers of Summer, an intimate celebration of fire, fruit, and the height of the season. Every course is shaped by the warmth of hardwood embers and the sweetness of the hive, and every dollar raised goes directly to support the Mantua Graduating Class of 2026.

Executive Chef Jynice Hummel has curated a three course tasting menu that showcases elevated summer ingredients transformed through wood fire cooking and classical technique. The evening opens with a Charred Watermelon and Heirloom Tomato Composition, brightened with whipped feta mousse, toasted pistachios, and a champagne and basil vinaigrette.

The centerpiece is Wood Fire Grilled Langoustine and Jumbo Shrimp, glazed in wildflower honey, saffron, and white wine, resting on a sweet corn and roasted leek velouté with charred summer vegetables. The night closes with a Honey Lavender Panna Cotta over a crisp almond sablé, finished with summer berry compote, honeycomb shards, and a drizzle of golden wildflower honey.

A full bar will be open all evening, pouring Golden Gypsy honey wines alongside a selection of other drinks. Beverages are available by the glass, and full bottles may be purchased as well, so you can raise a toast and even take a favorite home.

Seating is limited and offered in two intimate settings. The first seating runs from 6:00 to 8:00 PM and the second from 8:00 to 10:00 PM, with only 40 dinner seats available in each, just 80 in all. Tickets are $100 per guest, and each seating is reserved through its own ticket option, so be sure to choose the time that suits you best before they are gone.

Prefer to simply soak up the summer evening? Lawn and walk up guests are welcome free of charge to enjoy the garden setting, though dinner service is reserved for ticket holders only.
