As the summer sun settles over Downtown Mantua, gather in the garden courtyard for Embers & Honey, an intimate evening of wood fired cuisine, wildflower honey, and live jazz. Every dish is built around the warmth of hardwood embers and the sweetness of the hive, and every dollar raised goes directly to support the Mantua Graduating Class of 2026.

Executive Chef Jynice Hummel has crafted a three course tasting menu that celebrates the height of summer. The evening opens with a Stone Fruit Symphony of wood kissed peaches, apricots, and nectarines over tender greens, finished with whipped goat cheese and a champagne and wildflower honey vinaigrette. The main course is a fire seared beef short rib, slowly braised over hardwood embers in red wine and wildflower honey, finished with a glossy blackberry demi glace atop a silky celery root and Yukon Gold purée. The night closes with a Midnight Blackberry Honey Torte, layers of dark chocolate cake, whipped blackberry honey ganache, and a mirror glaze finished with honeycomb crumble and gold leaf.

Throughout the evening, a live jazz band fills the courtyard with warm, soulful sound. A full bar will be open all night, pouring Golden Gypsy honey wines alongside a selection of other drinks. Beverages are available by the glass, and full bottles may be purchased as well, so you can raise a toast and even take a favorite home.

Seating is limited and offered in two intimate settings. The first seating runs from 6:00 to 8:00 PM and the second from 8:00 to 10:00 PM, with only 40 dinner seats available in each, just 80 in all. Tickets are $100 per guest, and each seating is reserved through its own ticket option, so be sure to choose the time that suits you best before they are gone.

Prefer to simply enjoy the atmosphere? Lawn and walk up guests are welcome free of charge to take in the live music and the warm summer setting, though dinner service is reserved for ticket holders only.
